Overview
The ATV obstacle course is an individually timed course event where competitors get 2 runs per class, with the best time of the two runs taken. A cash prize and trophy is awarded to the top three finishers in each class.
Class List
- 4 stroke 2-wheel drive
This class is reserved for 2 wheel drive 4 stroke ATV’s, including utility ATV’s. - 4×4 class
This class is for 4×4 ATV’s. When competing, they must be in 4-wheel drive. - 2 stroke open
Initially this was for the 2 stroke machines, but due to the decline in 2 stroke motors, it has evolved into the open class where every ATV can compete against each other.
Registration
- Will take place on the night of the event beginning 90 minutes before the event starts. Entry fee is $10.00 per class.
The drivers are limited to each class based on their ATV. For example:
- If the driver drives a Yamaha banshee (2 stroke) they can only enter the 2 stroke open class.
- If the driver has a Honda 400ex (4 stroke 2-wheel drive) if they choose, they can enter the 4 stroke class and the open class.
- If the drive has a Yamaha Grizzly (4×4 switchable to 2wd) they are eligible for all three classes. The only requirement is that they must be in 4-wheel drive in the 4×4 class.
ENSE Rules
- Wear a certified helmet while operating their machines on the grounds of the Eastern Nova Scotia Exhibition (inside and outside the ring).
- Any driver expected to be under the influence of alcohol, and / or any other substance will be prohibited from participating and will be prohibited from participating in any future exhibition events. If a registration has been paid no refunds will be issued.
